MSI delivers a Z690 motherboard at around 300 USD this motherboard however is loaded with premium features and is DDR4 compatible. All four M.2 slots are cooled, and there are a plethora of speedy USB ports on the board, as well as the most luxurious Realtek ALC4080 audio codec and integrated WiFi. Additionally, MSI offers a great VRM design.

I went for this board for its features and nice design albeit it’s 340 euros in Europe . Haven’t set it up yet as I’m still waiting for more components to arrive. Was looking for a review as most are only looking to high end z690 boards with ddr5 or at the MSI pro entry level z690 boards. I would have loved to see more temp tests and how it compares to other z690 boards

Average price in U.S. is $322.00. I found this in an article for temp testing for you.

Bought this board for my new build. DDR5 is overrated anyway.

How so? Are you gonna say same thing to those who buy a Rolex for 20k? Or a car for a 100k? They all do the same thing that’s true but then again some people don’t want to start buying and plugging stuff later on as they add more storage or devices etc etc
