We review the ECS2512FP switch from EnGenius. We've been evangelizing for years now to achieve faster Ethernet. That trend has started towards PC motherboards, NAS units, and routers; but lagging behind are affordable multi-GigE switches.

great review HH.
my current network switch is ancient (wifi ax is faster) so i've been looking to replace it with a more up to date and future forward unit.
this will do nicely, but i'll have to budget for it.

seems to be easy to configure, but overpriced, imho.
let's take a look at the alternative - Mikrotik CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS (router) or CRS312-4C+8XG-RM (switch) - in $600 range , even you need some time to study the OS and configure them
