Corsair RM750i power supply review 4

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 06/23/2015 02:22 PM [ 8 comment(s) ]

We review the Corsair RM750i GOLD power supply. This new revision now is offered as the silent RMi series that comes Gold certified, that means it's 90% efficient at 50% load. Efficiency matters. The PSU itself is fully modular, for most of you with a side panel window in their chassis a must really as you'll want modular cables. The new PSU also improved on the audibility front and through Corsair LINK software you can even configure rails. Have a peek at the article.

7 year warranty?! Outstanding. This will probably be my new PSU.

EVGA's current line up (Superflower is their OEM) offers a 10 year warranty.

I wouldn't be that fussed about the three year difference though, once your PSU's at the 7 year range it's probably a good idea to replace it anyway. Both units are solid choices, and I love the external design of the Corsair unit.

Great review as always.

Ive been thinking about getting one of these for my main build and put my ocz in my streaming rig cause its red and black.
My whole build is white/black with clear white led fans.

Meh..... Corsair

Corsair is no longer known as a premium quality PSU builder. At present PSUs from both EVGA and SeaSonic are vastly better in component quality and performance. Now Corsair changed their status from premium quality PSU builder to bit greedy, money first strategy that they put quality on the back foot and more importance to margin/cost ratio PSUs. I hate people like that.
