Corsair iCUE 465X review 4

It’s time to check out the new Corsair iCUE 465X RGB mid-tower PC chassis. Corsair has been releasing many new cases in recent years, including the Carbide 275Q and the Crystal 680X, which we reviewed on Guru3d in April and March respectively.

Yeah, case manufacturers need to start realising that fans like to take air from directly in front of them, not from the side (quite often through tiny slits!)! Sure, some cases they allow for the front fans to breath by creating a relatively unimpeded airflow from directly in front of the fan......also I'd like to see more cases with air intakes in the base (with tall feet to allow the fans to breathe) to send cool air directly at the face of the GPU - creates the best GPU temperatures.

I dont think so, if you look at page 7(where the front panel is off)there seems to be quite a lot of space for air to flow in compared to many cases that have fine hole metal grills there.

What's the purpose of the bottom front fan? Blow air into the PSU shroud? Great!

Maybe, you'd really have to do "front panel removed" vs "front panel in place" whilst testing thermals to see if it's placing any significant restrictions on air flow. GN do such testing. Granted, it does look better than some side vents in terms of air flow, but it's not ideal, better to take the air through the front through very breathable mesh.
