ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti STRIX OC review 5

We review the ASUS ROG STRIX OC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB, and good god that is a long name. The 3060 Ti series are bound to please many as they offer gaming nirvana up-to WHQL resolutions. See, this card operates in the RTX 2080 SUPER performance bracket, actually slightly above it. Armed with 8GB GDDR6 is might but just what the gaming community needs.

Is it just me or is this the laziest generation of cards I have ever seen?

I feel like they're just using the same PCB, and just changing around vram and the chip.

Cause a triple fan of this size on this level of card is just stupid. Just adds to cost for no reason. Should be a dual fan at most

Damned if they do, damned if they don't .... they create the lower / cheaper TUF series for what you require, also they'll introduce a ASUS Dual. However, if they do not out ROG STRIX it would upset many people.

I'm more bothered by it being 2.5 slots, rather than the triple fan. It's a hot GPU, but it's not that hot. Regardless, as long as scalpers and miners keep damaging the supply chain, these companies might as well make a profit.

These, in theory, should have better availability. I'm sure they're still going to be sold out everywhere, but there will still be more of them.

I sure hope waiting will pay off.
