The good news is that they claim to be in the process of developing this script so it is possible that this could become a very refined script that simply makes things easier. Great potential is how I'd best describe Wintasks 5 Professional.

I found no feature so compelling to justify its $50 price tag for most users. For the odd person still using Windows 98, the enhanced task manager could actually be quite useful, though they might be just as happy with the much cheaper WinTasks 5 Standard. Those facing severe spyware problems due to sharing their computer with less savvy users might certainly find $50 of value simply in the allow/block list. It can prevent other uses from installing malware and using IE, while being easy enough to turn off so that you can use the computer to its full potential.

A System Administrator or desk-side support person could definitely use a program like this though the high price of an Administrator License (over $200) might just price it out of the running with less refined but free tools like HijackThis. If a couple of improvements were made, especially to the scripting, WinTasks 5 Pro certainly could be a must-have program. Uniblue does offer a 15 day trial of WinTasks 5 Professional and I would recommend that people check that out. This program does have some cool functionality that just might justify the price to some people.
