Team Group T-Force Delta Max 1 TB SSD review -
Introduction
Team Group T-FORCE DELTA MAX SATA SSD (1TB)
Mid-September, Team Group announced its T-FORCE DELTA MAX SATA SSD. This Solid-State Drive uses a magnificent RGB mirror design to create the largest visual proportion of its lighting effects. We had the opportunity to test the 1TB model. This SATA SSD was built with Silicon Motions's SM2258 controller paired with Micron's 64-layer or 96-layer 3D TLC NAND memory. The T-FORCE DELTA MAX is an SSD with a storage capacity of 256GB / 512GB / 1TB and (theoretically) 2 TB. The drive uses SATA and, according to the manufacturer, this series achieves read speeds of up to 560 MB/s and write speeds of up to 510 MB/s, as well as up to 90K/80K random read/write IOPS. Team Group’s T-Force Delta Max RGB SSD comes in a 2.5-inch/9.5-mm SATA form-factor (which is 2.5 mm more than a typical 2.5” drive, due to the implementation of the RGB).
“The latest generation of T-FORCE DELTA MAX RGB Solid State Drive has an innovative full mirror design which is a design breakthrough of the traditional solid-state drive. It offers the largest proportion of luminous area in the industry and the largest area of color lighting effects. The densely arranged ARGB LED lighting effect design can offer a colorful light feast. The minimalist design mirror can present a magic mirror-like reflection effect when the lighting is off. The advanced 3D NAND delivers up to 560 MB/s in read speed and 510MB/s in write speed. It also supports motherboards with 5V 3pin ARGB Addressable LED header. T-FORCE DELTA MAX RGB Solid State Drive’s lighting modes and effects can be customized via software of each brand’s motherboard to light up consumers’ storage devices. Maximum 2TB of capacity is the most magnificent storage expansion you can get, and the mirror design is creating a trend in the tech world. Currently applying for exclusive patents in three regions, including Taiwan/China/USA.”
T-FORCE DELTA MAX SSD supports ASUS Aura Sync / GIGABYTE RGB Fusion / MSI Mystic Light Sync / ASROCK-Polychrome Sync software. Team Groups ‘dressed to maximally impress’ T-Force Delta Max RGB SSDs is already available. The 250 GB version carries a price tag of $59.99, the 500 GB model is priced at $89.99, whereas the 1 TB features an MSRP of $149.99. Team Group offers a decent 3-year warranty on this product.
