Scythe Mugen 5 Rev C CPU cooler review
We review Scythes new Mugen 5 Rev. C cooler. Rev.C. of the Mugen 5 Rev.C features a new 120 mm PWM fan but is based on the traditional Mugen 5 heatsink design with its most recognizable metal caps top cover. The cooler is now also compatible with Intel's LGA1700 socket, ideal for 12th Generation Core processors. Scythe has released a new version of Mugen5, known as Mugen 5 Rev. C. The Mugen 5 Rev.C is based on the classic Mugen 5 heatsink but it has been improved with a new Kaze Flex II 120 mm PWM fan. The new fan boosts airflow by increasing its speed to up to 1,500 RPM, and the rubber frame design reduces noise. Many Intel 12th Gen CPU owners can now relax about the additional purchase of the LGA 1700 mounting kit. The Scythe H.P.M.S. IV mounting System now fully supports Intel LGA1700.
