The Control Software (2)

OCZ Technology NIA

In this practice game you need to move the paddle up and down the screen to return the ball. It was hilarious to do and test with. The trick here is to control the left paddle which is tied to muscle facial movement. The paddle is at the bottom of the screen when your muscles are relaxed. When your flex facial muscles it'll go upwards depending on how much strength you put on your muscles. You end up using your jaw or eye browses controlling the paddle. Yeah... don't let your girlfriend watch you do this as it does look weird :)

Once you completed the learning process and practiced enough you can now make game profiles for whatever game you use. There are several games already pre-configured for you.

But you should create some profiles yourself and assign the muscle, glance and brain activities you were able to successfully perform to actions. You can specify the signal each "joystick" reacts to: mimic muscles, eye movements or brain rhythms.

Once you have assigned the signals you can tweak and setup controls. Depending on the signal level. The corresponding slider can move from the top to bottom position of the rule, which you can set up to four marks or triggers on.

Each trigger corresponds to one, two or three commands (events). Use Ctrl+F12 to enable NIA-based control in the game and Ctrl+F11 to enable sounds for the joystick's triggers. Now you can press the launch button and start the game and press Ctrl+F12.
