Metro Last Light Frame Experience Analysis

Above, the percentile chart of the 30 seconds gaming @ 2560x1440. Here we plot FPS and place it in relation to percentiles.

  • 50% of the time measured frames is doing 30 FPS.
  • The last 5% of the frames is at 20 FPS or lower. 

For those that do not understand what you are looking at, the above is a gametime scene recorded for 30 seconds. On this 30 Second run the graphics cards all show massive spikes. and thus indicate stutters, we can confirm these as visible on screen. This happens with ALL cards tested at any resolutions, so it is A4 game-engine or system related.

With this chart, lower = better. Huge spikes above 40-50ms can be considered a problem like a stutter or indicate a low framerate.

If you follow the blue line, you'll only notice one visible stutter. This was very good. The latest patches kick in nicely.
