KFA2 is back in the house again as well, with one mighty fine pre-overclocked GeForce GTS 450. The card, next to roasting looks, again has the detachable fan design. This time around the card remains 100% silent though, something that was the quite opposite with the GTX 460 series. Have a peek first:

Armed with sturdy looks and a blue colored PCB, the card comes with a GPU clock of 888 MHz, that's pretty high actually as that is over 100 MHz more than the reference clock. The memory was bumped up as well, by utilizing faster ICs they clock this puppy at 4000 MHz on the 128-bit gDDR5 memory. KFA2 can manage this as they opted to use 0.4 ns gDDR5 ICs, in theory that should allow us to take this memory up-to 4500, even 5000 MHz. So that's going to be interesting for the overclock session.

The cooler as stated has that rugged military air force kind of look and feel, heatpipe based with a detachable fan, not at all noisy. We like that. In fact I personally feel this is the best looking card tested today. But that's just the subjective opinion of an editor on aesthetics of course.

The card has a clean PCB design and comes with one SLI and one 6-pin power header. Monitor wise this card has connectors for HDMI, DVI and D-SUB (analog VGA). I would have preferred digital connectors all the way though, this is the year 2010. I mean according to Arthur C. Clarke we should have had space stations in the air and already have made first contact. Surely we can forget about analog connectors anno 2010.

But man, what a lovely card, very stylish, even the monitor connectors have been colored (black). And that pre-overclock makes a serious difference. Also check the wide mesh there for more airflow. Details man.

And guess what... KFA2 expects this card to sell at roughly 120 EUR. A great deal alright. Let's hope there's good availability in the EU for these cards. Outside the EU you may expect a similar looking product, yet then branded as Galaxy.
