Both side panels are secured with magnets, Fractal design revers to this as gloating hinges with magnetic latching ensure smooth operation and clean looking front, even with the door open. And yes we agree, it's done properly right; just pull the top latch and it comes out. Extremely nice and easy operation there. The left side (closed) panel opens up just as easy, as well as the top side and front door really.

As stated before, the chassis comes with a really proper 9+3 expansion slots. CPU coolers may be up to 185 mm tall and graphics cards up to 524 mm with front fan and 359 mm in storage Layout for cards over 150 mm width (including power connectors).

You'll spot thick rubber grommets on all holes on the motherboard plate. The chassis has so many storage options, (6 HDDs + 2 SSDs out of the box, expandable to a max of 12+5).

If you look at the upper overview, that would be storage mode conversion. And it will support up to 8 x 3.5”, 2 x 2.5”, and 2 x 5.25” devices out of the box, expandable to a max of 18 x 3.5” and 5 x 2.5” via additional Type-A trays/brackets and universal multi-brackets. It's a little confusing to explain, but as stated a lot of features are modular.
