PC System Requirements

The game will require only moderately modern hardware only to run smoothly upon release. To reach recommended requirement we expect the game will need a Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel i5-4460 for a processor and your graphics card needs to be at least an AMD RX 460 4GB or Nvidia GTX 960 4GB. However, to run the game on windows, you will need at least 8GB of RAM, system memory while 16 is recommended. Given how most modern AAA titles are 50 GB plus, we recommend gamers to invest in a larger SSD these days. This title demands 60 GB of free space, and this size will only keep increasing to accommodate (optional) high-quality textures and more.

Raytracing

Even without raytracing, the visuals from Far Cry are a notch better as opposed to the previous version, and raytracing brings a sense of more photorealism. In Far Cry 2021, Ubisoft goes a step further and implements ray tracing reflections and shadows for the first time. Both RT effects affect the entire scenery and even at a great distance. Ray-traced shadows will undoubtedly help as they look more realistic, however as we have learned, create a hit in performance. You might want to leave it disabled and go with standard rasterized shadows as let's be honest, they're pretty darn good as well.

FidelityFX Super Resolution (AMD)

The new FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and thus the technology that fights with DLSS is available in-game. This also works with NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards, and raytracing, as we learned, can really help you boost performance. We'll show you this in the article.

Plot (wiki)

Taking place on the fictitious Caribbean island of Yara, which was inspired by Cuba and touted as "the largest Far Cry playground to date" and "a tropical paradise locked in time," Far Cry 6 is a third-person shooter video game released in 2013. This fascist dictatorship is governed by "El Presidente" Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito), who has complete power over the island of Cuba. In order for Diego (Anthony Gonzalez), who is unsure of his own destiny, to follow in his father's footsteps, Castillo instructs him to do so. According to Esposito, his character is a leader who is "attempting to empower the people to understand that they require strong leadership today," but who finds himself caught in the heart of a revolutionary movement. Esposito continued by saying that "His father was a tyrant before him, and he wishes to empower the people in order for them to retake control of their country. In order to survive, he wants to harness the resources that are already available within the country, rather than allowing outsiders to infiltrate and co-opt their scientists, intellectual property, and other assets "..... "Antonio is trying to empower his son to take up the mantle and really embrace ideas that would allow him to see how soon he will probably be the next leader in this country," Esposito continued. "He is trying to empower his son to take up the mantle and really embrace ideas that would allow him to see how soon he will probably be the next leader in this country."  As Dani Rojas, the player assumes the role of a local Yaran who was formerly a soldier in the Yaran armed forces and has now become a guerilla soldier fighting for freedom, the player seeks to restore their country to its previous glory. At the beginning of the game, the player has the option of choosing Dani's gender.
