Processor Performance -  Blender

With processors getting more threads and cores almost exponentially each year, we have now added Blender, v2.9x. We fire off two heavy intensive renders, BMW27 and Classroom. The software likes many cores and threads. It's a relatively new benchmark suite asset, so over time results will build up. It does happen occasionally, and in this case the DDR4 platform was faster.

  • BMW27 is a short-run workload, relying more on PL2 states.
  • Classroom is a long-run workload, relying more on PL1 states.
