What an interesting couple of months we have had, so many discussions, so many choices in products. But let's sum this release up shall we.

So it's like this, if you do not want or simply can't spend a tremendous amount of money on a high-end graphics cards and can settle for a little less, then we definitely recommend the product, it's very stable and for the money it offers heaps of functionality, features and really nice performance. You can basically play any game to date without any issue at all. DX9 Shader performance however might become an issue in the future, buit fair is fair, NVIDIA put in a lot of effort lately to bump up that part driver wise and a on a very progressive route.

Furthermore we see a decent enough potential in overclocking on this card. In fact it closes in on the default clocked 5900 Ultra so that makes up for a lot I guess. The product is equipped with memory that can handle a tad more than it's default specification, that's additional value. Overall tweaking wise don't expect miracles though. But for ther money, great yeah.

The GeForce FX 5900 product that we have tested today is silent when we look at the sound-level. It's a bit of a shame no ramsinks can be found though. But this is something you can find back in the price. The extra's have been left out, same goes for the software bundle. It's a choice you make yet makes this product very competitive in it's price range.

This product is for the true geeks, the hardcore gamers. It's recommended retail price at the time of writing this review is roughly 300-350 Euro which is still a lot of money for a graphics card that's not even the flagship among 3D videocards. But hey, that's the high-end game you pay for the technology these days.

Creative Labs Europe did a nice job with the 3D Blaster 5 FX5900. In it's category it's nothing out of the ordinary yet is priced really sharp for European standards. The FX 5900 will cost your about 300-349 Euro's which sounds better than the 500 Euro we all have to caugh up for the latest and greatest these days. This product already has been spotted for 299 in Europe.
