Final words and conclusion

With the MSRP set at 129.99 USD/EUROs, Corsair offers a decent headset here. The HS60 HAPTIC is an opportunity for gamers to get a high-quality headset solution without compromises on audio or mic quality. Wearing comfort was excellent, and the sound quality was more than sufficient, even for listening to music (yeah, audiophiles would have a field day here, but they’re not the target for this product). The HS60 Haptic is a pleasant update to the HS60 Pro, thanks to the Haptic technology, which offers better bass reproduction.

It’s a good package for the money you spend, given the two 50 mm neodymium magnets. The drivers offer a sound that’s detailed enough and has a broad spectrum. No RGB here – sorry (but who needs it on a headset anyway), there’s camo paint, which makes it stand out from the crowd of mostly all-black headsets.

Wearing Comfort

The HS60 HAPTIC is very well made in this respect. It feels good in terms of weight, and it’s very comfortable given the relatively simple design. Even longer sessions are not tiresome. The ear padding is comfortable, and the headband is made solidly. Cup height can be adjusted, and the cups themselves can also be rotated.

Conclusion

For the 129.99 USD/EUR you have to spend; you don’t risk too much with the HS60 HAPTIC. It offers likable audio quality combined with unrivaled wearing comfort. The headband is durable, as are the ear cup mounts.  It’s a headset worthy of a Recommended award. You can tweak this product to your liking, and it works just really well. For me, the HS60 HAPTIC delivers a solid performance in music and is very good at gaming, thanks to proper 50 mm drivers. The included detachable MIC is of decent quality and should be reliable. The 2-year warranty paired with the outstanding build quality is also an important item to mention in this review's final lines. The Corsair HS60 Haptic is comfortable and sounds very good. The addition of haptic technology enhances the bass, and you can feel it.
