The mouse is based on a 10,000 DPI sensor, and comes with six (macro) programmable buttons. As mentioned above, the HARPOON RGB WIRELESS has textured rubber side grips. It shouldn’t get slippery when wet, or sweaty in your warm hand during an intense gaming session. The mouse has an ergonomic, contoured design. It feels rather okay in my hand, but I do have very large palms (I’m 202 cm tall), so the size should be ok for most users, as it’s not very bulky.

The Harpoon RGB is a right-handed mouse. It has a pleasing curve to it that fits the palm for right-handed mousing. To accommodate the flared sides, the mouse sits up a bit higher than other gaming mice. Its height and rounded shape make it a natural fit for those of you who are palm grippers, but I employ a claw grip and still loved the feel of the mouse, mostly due to the scooped-out shape of the sides and their grippy feel. On top is the scroll, wheel which can be clicked as well (it’s programmable).

The button below the scroll wheel (and the LED indicator) is the selectable DPI switch with several programmable gradations. You can have a DPI selection of your liking, configurable through iCUE software.

The quality is very decent, and the plastic is rigid. At the bottom, what seem to be PTFE feet provide good mobility of the mouse. The 10K DPI sensor (Pixart) is placed at the center, which can be an obstacle for people who want to take advantage of the high sensitivity.

The USB cable is 1.8 meters long, and it’s braided. No weight adjustment is possible.
