We review the Be Quiet! Silent Base 802, the next iteration of the Silent Base again has quiet and silent in its name, so it better be just that. The ATX tower chassis has updated, and subtle nice looks were made with quality and originality and have some nice new features. It is a lovely chassis design, fairly tool-free, good space to work in, and very silent cooling. Looking at the chassis for the first time will bring a smile to your face, albeit a mostly plastic shell, aside from the front panel, awaits you with some very nice aesthetics. Depending on the color combination you choose, the chassis is made with a dark interior. There are options available - one with a glass side panel. 

Silent chassis always come with one compromise, airflow. And as much in it' base design, the chassis is a bit more restricted. However, be quiet! has included some nice options in the form of a meshes top and front panel. You can apply them based on your preference or needs. So yeah, you may use a closed front panel and a two-piece sound-insulated top cover for quiet operation or go breezy. Three pre-installed Pure Wings 2 140mm fans (two at the front, one at the rear) provide a proper default fan configuration. Also included is an integrated fan controller that managed up to six 3-pin fans and serves as a PWM hub function. The case has a steel base with plastic side plates and measures 539 x 281 x 553mm. You'll get a total of seven expansion slots and an up to 288mm long power supply slot alongside three included internal 3.5-inch bays slots as well as storage locations for no less than 7 SSDs. The Be Quiet! Silent Base 802 features a front I/O panel with 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1, HD Audio, Fan Switch Button. Motherboard wise the chassis can house E-ATX (30.5 x 27.5), ATX, M-ATX, Mini-ITX. The power supply cover provides a clean interior layout and offers space for a double hard drive cage. Dust filters located in the bottom and front of the housing can be easily removed from the front. Radiators with a length of 120, 240, or 360 millimeters (or up to three fans with a diameter of 120 or 140 millimeters) can be installed with little effort on the mounting frame located under the top cover, which can be pulled out to the side. Radiators with a maximum length of 420 millimeters fit into the front when the first panel of the power supply cover is removed.
