In this review we'll look at Medal of Honor Warfighter VGA Graphics benchmark performance. The new and massively popular EA title is a great looking game. But how will it perform on a selection of different graphics cards ? This review will cover all these basics and a little more.

In this article we'll look at all four processors, the AMD FX 8350 - 8320 - 6300 and 4300 in a easy to read performance review. This article is nothing more then a performance overview of all four processors released earlier this week. So this article is basically functions as a performance chart overview.

Samsung has released a SSDs under the name 840 PRO. Coming in three different storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, these slim 2.5-inch SSDs (7mm thick) are equipped with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and capable of delivering read/write speeds of up to 530/390 MB/s (128GB Model) and 540/520 MB/s (256GB & 512GB Models), respectively. The 128GB, 256GB and 512GB models are priced at $149.99, $269.99 and $599.99, respectively. We'll try and get a sample in soon for a review.

Dell releases a new multi-touch LCD monitor from Dell, the S2340T. This 23-inch IPS LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 270 cd/m2 brightness, 8ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with a webcam, two built-in 5W stereo speakers and features HDMI, DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet and 2x USB 3.0 connectors. The S2340T retails for 54,980 Yen (about $689).

Gigabyte is releasing a Windows 8 tablet PC. Dubbed as the Gigabyte S1082, the 10.1-inch tablet is powered by a 1.10 GHz Intel Celeron 847 dual-core processor, which is combined with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a multitouch display with a 1366 x 768 pixels native resolution and an Intel HD 2000 graphics. Measuring 270mm x 173mm x 14.94mm, the gadget also provides up to 500GB hard disk drive or up to 256GB SSD, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0, and 3.5G WWAN. 

MSI refreshes arsenal of gaming laptops with Windows 8 operating system to provide gamers with enhanced system performance and a more immersive user experience. MSI's Windows 8 upgrade applies to upcoming laptops in the G Series, including the acclaimed GT70 and GT60 units. ECS released a new yet affordable A970M-A Deluxe. The motherboard comes with an  AMD Socket AM3 and AM3+ processors. One of the special features on this board is the Anti-Dust Shield (ADS), basically two metal plates that promise to reduce dust buildup. A nice looking motherboards for sure, have a peek.

More news from ASUS today as they launch the G46VW, the G46VW is a new 14" ROG G-series gaming laptop with Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M graphics. The press release is copied below, but there's no word whether this is a Windows 7 or 8 system.

Collapse in a good way. ASUS today shows their ET2300 which is a 23" Windows 8 All-in-One PC with a 1920 x 1080 pixels IPS LCD screen with 10-point multi-touch input. The system features Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 series processors and comes with integrated Intel graphics or NVIDIA's GT630M and comes with a built-in subwoofer. You can get it with up to 8GB DDR3 1600MHz memory, up to 2TB of HDD storage, a slot-loading DVD drive, HDMI input and output, WiDi, eSATA, USB 3.0 and optional Thunderbolt. One of the special features of the ET2300 is that you can fold it together, turning it into a tablet-like device. Not sure if this feature is really all that useful, but it does make the computer easier to transport.

ASRock sends out word that they are  first motherboard maker to offer support for Intel's Smart Response SSD caching technology on a X79 motherboard. This technology was present on Intel's Z68 chipset but was not supported by the X79 until Intel released the Rapid Storage Technology 11.6.0.1030 drivers in September. ASRock has now issued the P1.60 BIOS for its X79 Extreme11 motherboard to activate this feature.

If you have been waiting for an SP2 of Windows 7 well it doesn't sound like Microsoft is going to release one. Sources close to Microsoft's sustained engineering team, which builds and releases service packs, have told The Register there are no plans for a second Windows 7 SP – breaking precedent on the normal cycle of updating Windows.

EK Water Blocks presents the fourth GeForce GTX 680 water block in the lineup, the EK-FC680 GTX FTW. Sony has become aware of a new PlayStation 3 security nightmare after a day in which a brand new, PSN-enabled custom firmware was released for hacked consoles, swiftly followed up by publication of the console's LV0 decryption keys - which some say blows the system wide open. The release of the new custom firmware - and the LV0 decryption keys in particular - poses serious issues. 

As expected the iPad mini has just been launched by Apple. Apple's Phil Schiller stated in a speech that this "isn't just a shrunken-down iPad, it's an entirely new design." At almost 8-inch the all new 7.9-inch iPad mini has a 1024 x 768 resolution, like the earlier-generation 9.7-inch iPad models, but is housed in an all-new 7.2mm-thick aluminum shell, the housing makes the product 53 percent lighter and a good chunk thinner than the 4th-generation iPad. Comparing the iPad mini against the Nexus 7, Phil points out that Apple's tablet is lighter and thinner than Google's slate in spite of having a display area that's a third larger. The Nexus 7 also has a bigger, plastic bezel around its screen whereas the iPad mini's bezel is made out of aluminum.

As I’m sure you’re aware Medal of Honor: WarFighter is about to launch. AMD found an issue that came up last minute that affects this game, where you might experience an application crash if you’re using a CrossFire configuration while Deferred Anti-Aliasing is enabled. This only affects the newly released 12.11 beta 3 Catalyst.

AMD has now fixed this issue and updated Catalyst 12.11 towards Beta 4 which you can download here.

In this article we test and review the new AMD FX 8350 processor. AMD unleashes PileDriver cores on the new Vishera a codenamed architecture. The CPU tested today has eight physical CPU cores, it will have a base clock of 4000 MHz, and can Turbo towards 4200 MHz. And that makes the FX series a multi-threaded high frequency monster.

AMD launches the Never Settle Marketing campaign. Part of that campaign is the new AMD 12.11 Catalyst driver as this driver has had some TLC from AMD, improving overall performance on a number of games. Next to that AMD is launching their Never Settle Game Bundle, purchase a R7000 series dedicated card and you can get some great free game(s). We review the MSI GeForce GTX 660 HAWK graphics card in this article. The MSI HAWK is released in the mid-range segment, yet received a high-end treatment from MSI.  Armed with a customized PCB, TwinFrozr IV cooler, military class components and to top it off, a very high factory overclock that places this product smack down in the middle of GeForce GTX 660 Ti performance.  The HAWK edition also comes with the V-Check points that allow voltage measurement points for enthusiasts wanting accurate voltage readings via multi-meter. Not bad for a 175 EUR card really.

Project CARS member 'JonZ' has released a new community trailer for Slightly Mad Studios' racer that showcases the wet weather effects that have introduced to the game's latest pre-alpha build. Project CARS is currently planned for a 2013 release on PC, X360, PS3 and WiiU
