Ahead of the NDA on Thursday a hand full of motherboard manufacturers decided to already send out the press-releases on their AMD A75 based motherboards for Llano processors.

It's insanely fast, it will be insanely expensive but it is most definitely insanely sexy.
Corsair added two new SATA 3 6G SSDs to their Force lineup, the Force 3 and Force 3 GT, with the 3 as indicator for SATA 3. The difference in-between the two products is to be found in its NAND flash memory, the GT will be a notch faster in throughput as it makes use of synchronous NAND flash memory, the regular 3 models will run one gear slower, yet still incredibly fast thanks to slightly cheaper asynchronous NAND flash memory.
Both drives come with that already famous SandForce SF-2281 controller to deliver at up to 550 MBps read and 510 MBps write speeds. We check out the Corsair Force 3 120GB.

ASUS has now finally released the Maximus IV Gene-Z micro-ATX motherboard that is based on Intel's Z68 chipset and is designed to run LGA 1155 Sandy Bridge processors.
The Maximus IV Gene-Z includes an important number of advanced features like AMD CrossFireX and Nvidia SLI support, ROG Connect support and an on-board Supreme X-Fi sound chip.In addition to the two PCI Express x16 slots that are required for dual-GPU setups, Asus has also included a PCI-E x4 slot.
Right next to it, users will find the on-board Power and Reset buttons as well as a BIOS debug LCD. Storage is provided by six SATA ports, two of the 6Gbps variety, and Asus has also included a USB 3.0 header which allows for two such ports to be routed to the front of the case.
Another two USB 3.0 ports can be found on the rear I/O panel along with an impressive number of USB 2.0 ports, two eSATA connectors, 7.1-channel audio with a digital S/PDIF output and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
This means that the Maximus IV Gene-Z is fully compatible with the LucidLogix Virtu on-the-fly graphics switching technology as well as Intel's Quick Sync technology. Smart Response is also supported. CPU power is delivered by a complex Extreme Engine Digi+ PWM with an 8-phase design that Asus claims it can deliver a whopping 250A of current to the processor.
The recommended retail price is set at $185 and the Maximus IV Gene-Z should reach retail store shelves soon. We have a review sample in-house btw, so expect a review anytime soon.
It's all silent regarding AMD Bulldozer FX but but check this leak out, an FX-Series processor with an impressive 4.63GHz overclock.
The CPU that managed to achieve this feat seems to be an engineering sample of the FX-8130P and required about 1.5V in order to be stable enough to run the Super Pi benchmark at the above mentioned frequency.
The FX-8130P is supposed to be AMD's fastest desktop Bulldozer processor as it features eight processing core that are run at a base frequency of 3.8GHz. Based on the load placed on its cores, the chip can increase its frequency up to 4.2GHz thanks to AMD's Turbo Core 2.0 technology.
In addition to the four Bulldozer modules, the FX-8130P also includes 8MB of Level 2 cache memory and 8MB of L3 cache as well as an integrated dual-channel memory controller that supports DDR3-1866 modules.
In addition, it can read modern CPUs on-die core thermal sensors, as well has hard drives temperature via S.M.A.R.T, and video card GPU temperature. Special hardware monitors on power supplies serie are supported too. The program does not copy any file in any directory, neither writes in the registry.

Not only AMD but also VIA and NVIDIA left BAPCo due to disagreements over the scoring system of SYSmark 2012 reports xbitlabs.. That pretty much it for Bapco as it will drive a knife straight through their heart, after today nobody can ever use their software anoy longer on future generation CPUs and APUs:
Nvidia Corp. and Via Technologies confirmed on Thursday that they had quit BAPCo (Business Applications Performance Corp.) due to disagreements over the scoring system of SYSmark2012 which does not take graphics card's role into account while measuring performance in applications that are considered by many as outdated.
"We have tendered our resignation to BAPCo. We strongly believe that the benchmarking applications tests developed for SYSmark 2012 and EEcoMark 2.0 do not accurately reflect real world PC usage scenarios and workloads and therefore feel we can no longer remain as a member of the organization," said Richard Brown, a vice president at Via Technologies.
Advanced Micro Devices on Tuesday officially said that it would not endorse SYSmark 2012 benchmark and will also quit BAPCo (Business Applications Performance Corp.) that developers to PC performance measurement software.
The main concern of AMD, Nvidia and Via is that BAPCo SYSmark 2012 does not utilize graphics processing units (GPUs) for general purpose computing tasks (GPGPU) and solely relies on performance of central processing units (CPUs). According to AMD, such approach is misleading as many applications nowadays take huge advantage of GPGPU technologies, including Adobe Flash 10.2 (SYSmark 2012 uses 10.1), Microsoft Office 11 (SM2012 uses Office 10), Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 (SM2012 uses IE8), Microsoft Movie Maker and many others. Besides, AMD accuses BAPCo of implementing unrepresentative workloads into the benchmark in order to favour AMD's competitor Intel.
"We have resigned [from BAPCo]," said Irina Shekhovtsova, a senior spokesperson for Nvidia.
"We hope that the industry can adopt a much more open and transparent process for developing fair and objective benchmarks that accurately measure real-world PC performance and are committed to working with companies that share our vision," added Mr. Brown.
