ViewSonic offers a gaming monitor with the XG2530 and much like the ASUS PG258Q and Acer XB252Q it offers a native 240Hz refresh rate. The display panel is a 24.5” TN (Twisted Nematic) from AU Optronics M250HTN01 with a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution.
The monitor offers a 1000:1 static contrast. 240Hz is offered alongside Adaptive-Sync (AMD FreeSync) with aproclaimed variable refresh rate of 48 – 240Hz with LFC supported. The screen is tagged at 400 cd/m². 8-bit colour is supported (6-bit + FRC dithering) whilst a 1ms grey to grey response time is specified.
