Radeon HD 7970 2-way Crossfire performance

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/01/2012 04:22 AM | Source | 0 comment(s)

Currently I am working on a Radeon HD 7970 performance review and since that review won't be live until week 1 of next year (which is such a HUGE time from now ;) I wanted to share some of the results already before calling it a day and start spending New Years Eve.

Overall scaling is looking really good with two R7970 card, not flawless as some applications do need better driver support but 8 out of the 10 titles scale properly in our benchmark suite.

Have an early peek at some of the results by clocking on the thumbnails. All examples are at 1920x1200 with the best image quality settings and 4 or 8x AA as usual. More next year though, to each and everyone of you have a great New Years celebration and be careful with the fireworks ok ?
