The GeForce GTX 590 and GeForce GTX 550 Ti cards are nearing. GeForce GTX 590 is a dual GF110 GPU solution with 3GB GDDR5 memory while GTX 550 Ti is based on GF116-400, comes with 1GB GDDR5 memory.
We think (and hope) that the GTX 590 is based on GF110 cores and packs 1024 stream processors, 128 texturing units, 96 ROPs and dual 384-bit memory interfaces.
The Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 is ideal to compete with AMD's Radeon HD 6990 "Antilles" GPU that is also expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2011.
