LG Unveils New 4K LCD Displays with IPS Black Technology for Enhanced Black Reproduction

LG has introduced two cutting-edge 4K LCD display products, the "32UQ850V-W" and the "27UQ850V-W," leveraging the innovative IPS Black technology. 32UQ850V-W The "32UQ850V-W" is a liquid crystal display tailored for creators, harnessing the power of "IPS Black" technology to enhance black color representation. This advancement leads to improved rendering of dark areas and elevates the contrast ratio to an impressive 2,000:1, resulting in more authentic 4K video and image display. Boasting a maximum color range of approximately 1.07 billion colors and an accurate DCI-P3 coverage rate of 98%, it complies with the VESA DisplayHDR 400 HDR standard.

Key specifications include a maximum resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, a peak brightness of 400 cd/m2, a 60 Hz refresh rate, a rapid 5 ms (GTG) response time, and a wide viewing angle of 178° both horizontally and vertically. The display supports AMD FreeSync for synchronization and incorporates eye care features like flicker safe and blue light reduction mode. 27UQ850V-W The "27UQ850V-W" is another remarkable addition to LG's lineup, featuring a diverse array of input interfaces including DisplayPort 1.4 x 1, HDMI x 2, and USB Type-C x 1. The USB Type-C port supports up to 90W USB PD power supply, along with a USB 3.0 x 2 hub function and 5W + 5W speakers.
