ASUS has confirmed the specifications for the AMD Ryzen 8000GE 35W Accelerated Processing Unit (APU), which incorporates Zen 4 CPU cores and RDNA 3 GPU cores. The Ryzen 8000GE series APUs represent a low-power variant within AMD's lineup, designed for efficiency and compact system integrations. Following the launch of the Ryzen 8000G series 65W desktop APUs, which introduced models such as the R7 8700G, R5 8600G, R5 8500G, and R3 8300G, AMD is extending its APU offerings with the 35W Ryzen 8000GE series. These new APUs maintain the core configurations of their 65W counterparts but operate at lower clock speeds to achieve reduced power consumption.

The Ryzen 8000GE series lineup, as revealed by ASUS, includes:

  • R7 PRO 8700GE: 8 cores, 16 threads, base clock speed of 3.65GHz, and 16MB of L3 cache
  • R5 PRO 8600GE: 6 cores, 12 threads, base clock speed of 3.9GHz, and 16MB of L3 cache
  • R5 PRO 8500GE: 6 cores, 12 threads, base clock speed of 3.4GHz, and 16MB of L3 cache
  • R5 8500GE: Identical to the R5 PRO 8500GE with 6 cores, 12 threads, a base clock speed of 3.4GHz, and 16MB of L3 cache
  • R3 PRO 8300GE: 4 cores, 8 threads, base clock speed of 3.5GHz, and 8MB of L3 cache
  • R3 8300GE: Matches the R3 PRO 8300GE with 4 cores, 8 threads, a base clock speed of 3.5GHz, and 8MB of L3 cache

The AMD Ryzen 8000GE 35W APUs are anticipated to be integrated into OEM products, offering a new solution for lightweight office setups and compact computing devices.
