Acer Introduces Two 27-inch WQHD Gaming LCDs with IPS Panel

Acer unveiled two gaming liquid crystal displays, the "VG271UM3bmiipx" and "VG270UEbmiipx," both featuring a 27-inch size and supporting WQHD resolution. 



The "VG271UM3bmiipx" is a high-end option catering to fast-paced gaming with a refresh rate of 180Hz and an impressive response speed of 0.5ms. It incorporates AMD FreeSync Premium for display sync technology and offers support for HDR10, providing high dynamic range visuals.

Key specifications include around 16.7 million display colors, DCI-P3 color reproduction at 95%, brightness at 250cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. The display boasts a wide viewing angle of 178° both horizontally and vertically. For connectivity, it provides HDMI 2.0 x 2, DisplayPort 1.2 x 1, a headphone terminal, and 2W x 2 speaker output.

The stand allows tilt adjustment ranging from -5 to 20°. Users can utilize a VESA mounter with a pitch of 100 x 100 mm. The body dimensions are 614 mm in width, 240 mm in depth, 475 mm in height, with a weight of 4.6 kg.

As for the "VG270UEbmiipx," it serves as the standard model offering a refresh rate of 100Hz and a response speed of 1ms. Like its counterpart, it supports AMD FreeSync for display sync and HDR10 for high dynamic range content.

The main specifications include approximately 16.7 million display colors, sRGB color reproduction at 99%, a brightness of 350cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. Similar to the previous model, the viewing angles reach 178° both horizontally and vertically. It is equipped with HDMI 2.0 x 2, DisplayPort 1.2 x 1, a headphone terminal, and 2W x 2 speaker output.
