Windows XP, Vista and 7 had rounded start buttons. It's only when Windows 8 came along that they started making everything square again.

Thats because this dev build is classed as Windows 10 next.

All of you "daredevils", who installed this leaked build, I wonder how are you gonna update it afterwards. You still don't know when this build is coming at dev channel.

Not sure bout others but I'm just curious so I installed it on a second ssd with dual boot. Ain't gonna replace my original windows with some random leak, pretty sure others ain't as crazy either.

MicroSoft looks like will forget Win 10 "Windows as a Service" and they fixed everything on him,now its time for the next project: Windows 11. /s
Rounded corners,no more bland icons(they spend millions on that ugly&bland Windows logo for nothing),etc.They still keep most hated thing in windows explorer: the Ribbon.

Lets wait the new features,some of them are known,some are not not.
A little reminder of a new feature:
"Microsoft is creating a new security chip that’s designed to protect future Windows PCs. Microsoft Pluton is a security processor that is built directly into future CPUs and will replace the existing Trusted Platform Module (TPM), a chip that’s currently used to secure hardware and cryptographic keys. Pluton is based on the same security technologies used to protect Xbox consoles, and Microsoft is working with Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm to combine it into future CPUs."

Some other threads mention there is an option to move the centered icons to the left.
Looked like option to change it was in Settings.
I guess: Settings > Personalization > Start
I think DirectStorage will be added later since developers are suppose to get it this year.
But I kind of wonder if they will gateway DirectStorage and similar new features behind in Win11.
To force most people to change. 🙄
Just hope there is a free upgrade option again and that it is less bumpy ride than Win10 was at start. 😛

Loaded it onto a spare SSD, kept my Win 10 installed on my main SSD and removed it from the PC temporarily while i tested Win 11.

50 shades of grey and white.. boring, i dont expect something really artistic from OS, it had to be better than totally ugly a cumbersome (hello Gnome,KDE), i far i remember only WinXP and Win7 done it a bit better and feeling was actually pleasant.
