Chill out, it's a Ubisoft game, it need's couple of patches and a Steam sale discount.
And DX12/Vulkan support...

Well it is favoring nvidia as of now with DX11. Hope it gets a DX12 patch and some more optimizations.
I'm not surprised. It's yet another piss-poor port coming from ubilol+nvidia collaboration.
You sound very salty. How did you act when Deus Ex came out?

Thanks for this review,Mr.Hilbert. 🙂 The game, ofc, need some patches and low price,no order or pre-order yet. An ~999-1.200$ Intel CPU @ 130-140W its a waste of money & resources.

I can't seem to get the RivaTuner OSD to work with this game. It works flawelessly with all other games in my library except this one. Tried messing with the application detection level and custom direct3D support settings but nothing seems to work. Is there anybody with the same issue or am I missing something?

Wrong thread

78ti beating the 390 at 1440p lol. Legacy hardware ftw

Another "unplayable" game released this fall...just great. Not even a Titan seems to handle the game properly at 1440p. Might buy this game on sale in two years when I have a Volta card that can give those 100fps I'd like to have at 1440p for a smooth experience.

Temporal filtering is disabled and is recommended to leave it at that. All TF does is render the game @ half resolution then upscale it to your configured one.
TAA has barely any effect of visual quality and can give huge fps increase so why not at least test with it on. http://images.nvidia.com/geforce-com/international/comparisons/tom-clancys-rainbow-six-siege/tom-clancys-rainbow-six-siege-anti-aliasing-interactive-comparison-001-off-vs-temporal-filtering.html ON VS OFF.

That video is where all the benchmarking was done?, no wonder such a disparity compared to duderandom´s 1080 video, his frame rate tanks really hard in open world, down to sub 30fps at times.

TAA is exceptional, I love it. I play Siege with it on exclusively, there's no reason not to, it's free FPS. Look at the comparison. The aliasing is even reduced on the TAA version.

Commuting home on a train and got this pushed through by YouTube so only watched about 30 seconds, but from that it looks like Ultra is barely hitting performance, it's Max that is. Just watched the full thing (still on my phone though) and seems like it's the usual culprits causing the performance drops (MSAA and shadows) and while i dislike MSAA, the shadows look pretty crap even on Ultra. Without decent SLI scaling i have no chance anyway though.

Is it just me or what that thinks this guy sounds like Franklin from GTAV.

now we need 980Ti gpu class just to stay above 60fps @1080p ? great... just great 🙁

People keep believing that modern games are optimized for "max". They aren't. These settings are usually there so that the developers and the publisher can say that they "support" the enhanced versions on the PC. Nobody really tests them to the max, and nobody should expect to run a modern game with MSAA. It was the same with Deus Ex:MD. People expected to run it with 4xMSAA. It's not really made to run like this. And no, you don't need a 980Ti to enjoy Watch_Dogs 2 at 1080p60. We're an enthusiast forum for Christ's sake.

I wish you guys would start posting 3440 x 1440 benchmarks and also at least pretending to proofread. I mean : "Starting at 2560x1440 we results quickly become difficult with high quality settings. Some of you will need to drop down to medium quality now, however you'd need to be on dated hardware really. For the more hardcore PC gamers a preferred resolution is WQHD which is short for Wide Quad HD, a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Let's just call this the more more sexy resolution opposed to the ever so popular Full HD. Again pretty much all cards are doing mighty fine here." Seriously?

Damn dude.

Take it easy guy. Hilbert works his guts out for us. He puts out 5 times the content Anand does, and they have way more writers on staff. The occasional grammatical or spelling error is more than forgivable. Hilbert is the freakin man. So take a deep breath and calm yourself.

A £1000 Graphics card for 75fps at 1440p lol
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/206/206288.jpg
That's actually very good, not like it's a setting reserved for future hardware. Many people pay £1000 to be the first to test these work in progress/experimental settings.

duderandom's benchmarked Watch dogs 2 with MSAA 2X. I think we get misleading result if in a performance test MSAA is used for AA. MSAA is extremely taxing with very little or no benefit over Post-Process Anti-Aliasing methods like SMAA which costs just a few frames per second. using MSAA gives the wrong impression about game's performance and is better to be disabled in any graphics performance benchmark.
