Just to have it said, I think it's cool that Hilbert and folks post a major review between the holidays. Kudos.

Happy owner of a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6800 here, though it's a placeholder card for me as I'm keen to get an RX 6900 XT (given up on the RX 6800 XT as it's damn near impossible to find one, unless the stars happen to align themselves in your favor....plus Divine intervention from the Almighty. My card runs rather cool because I've always turned off 'Zero Fan' and enable an agressive fan curve. The card, or rather, the fans aren't loud even with the fan curve I'd set, but then again, I'm more about cooling the card under load than a fan of silent rigs. https://i.imgur.com/9LGMCTk.jpg And before you guys tease me about the RGB's, let me remind you that it's a scientific fact that RGB not only improve clock and memory OC's, it helps cool down the card much more efficiently.....and.....and it promotes world peace!:p:D

Still less bulky than those capacitator cables too even if the LED strips make them a bit larger but also not as inflexible as some of these can be. 😛 Beyond the absolute pain of connecting and setting these cap cables nicely behind, over, around and all that they do have a purpose though so I suppose that's a thing. (But it's doubtful it makes up for the install problems ha ha.) Also nice to see a confirmation that other motherboards have that lovely in the way USB connector placement too instead of down the bottom of the board with the next of them. Wonder if that's a form factor thing because I don't think I've seen any E-ATX 570's kinda surprised me with my own Aorus board that they squeezed all of it on the standard sized board. 😀 Even a little raiser there I think, should look into that myself whenever the next GPU upgrade comes out if 2.5 to 3 slot is going to continue being the standard with heavier metal backplates and such. Long card too seeing it like that almost near the drive trays and over the motherboard length. (But that I think is why some of Sapphire's other GPU coolers had the extended heat spreader even on the smaller form factor GPU's it dissipates the heat very well.)

kapu:

You can tune fan cruve a bit , lose 2-3C max achive similar results. , still id say it is fail a bit , not beating reference desing by larger margin .
You asked about bad temperatures while completely disregarding phenomenal acoustics. One post later you are able to model dBA-Temperature curve in your head irrespective of the rest of the system. That is amazing progress. Either that or you're way over your head 😉
