"undying is right,apu gaming is a mirage" Except it isn't a mirage totally is it. You can't really say that anymore since next gen consoles have proved that APU's are gonna be a future thing. An APU pushing out 4K high end gfx no less. If it can be made to work in a console then it won't be long until we see better APU's for budget systems. It'll never be as good as a dedicated CPU/GPU granted but they could make a decent gaming APU once MS sorts out Windows and DirectStorage which i think is an important upgrade route for an APU. At the moment i think the way windows works with games isn't helpful for APU's but future updates will help them become stronger i have no doubt about that. You only have to read up on tricks they use to make console gaming better, for example consoles would run at half the speed without DirectStorage which Doubles the throughput from 2.4gigs to 4.8gigs. Something that would be very beneficial to PC APU's too.
