Crazy Joe:

I wish people would stop looking at these rumors and just wait for the release of these cards.
Remove the speculation about any hardware release, and just let tumble weed roll through the forums.

It's not virtue signaling it's waking up to the reality. Just look at all the heatwave after heatwave. Cryptofasciscs wasting whole country worth of power for something that is slow and inefficient as a payment method.
So what fake news channels do you watch? I need to catch up on the current thing to put on my Twitter bio....

And mine is whatever i can run without my rig exploding, if i had to dial down the power consumption id need to offset the savings by burning some tyres in the garden.
I use around 300w max when gaming 1440 /60fps, i'd be willing to go ..around 500w. For vr gaming i'd go up to 800w.

I hope that the 60 series this time around will be priced for gamers and not for miners.

My machine uses exactly just under 500W, full load, when I put my GPU on 80% power limit, I only lose a couple of FPS, not too bad, but save almost 100W, that is a 215W GPU then, I like that (RTX3070Ti)

I've yet to run a game that maxxes the 3070ti, but i've a weak, low power noctua cpu cooler so can't max my 10700k, i got it at 4.5ghz. cpu intensive games kill it even at that I'm going for 2nd playthrough of cyberpunk after re village (modded) so will upgrade cooler and max the card then. It's vry cool under extreme high stress i know that from it's past life.;)

Cyberpunk with RTX on creates Cyberstutter, not enough VRAM, they butchered the future longevity with this limitation, very annoying. :/

on 2080ti it was just under 8gb for me, i'll be fine, re village is same for me too, around the 8gb mark, i'll work it out and mod it.

I don`t believe those leaks because the performance jump seems to big but specially because the TDP of 400w for a mid range card is insane! How are most people supposed to cool GPUs like that?...

Yes modern GPU's power draw to me is just unacceptable; especially now that WEF / Blackguard / Vanguard is tightening the screws and raising energy costs around the globe.

Press X to doubt. I don’t see any incentive for nvidia here, unless the market is really about to tank and AMD are poised to have something competitive.

For now... My card isn't mining, but the next Bubble, I am gonna mine with it and sell to a miner at the peak, after it crashes again, I am buying the best of the best. πŸ˜€

Im eyeing this one too now, 192bit 12gb with 500gb/s doesnt look thaat bad. It's all down to price, it better not be more then 550-600e.

Yeah I sold my nephew 2060S for 500usd last year and just bought a 3070 for 500usd to give back to my nephew πŸ˜€, straight upgrade.

Well i doubt it will that much, 3070ti rls was 500-550e, ive seen 3080 for 730-800e max by release before that mining bs.

Poor nephew did you really left him without a decent GPU during the pandemic? πŸ˜€
I left him a gtx1060 6GB, good enough for online games I guess πŸ˜€

I'm excited. I was ready to throw down like $1500+ for a 4090, now that I have a 120Hz 4K, but with DLSS, I might not even need to go that hard. We shall see, I guess. As for power draw, I have solar panels and heat pumps. Most of the year I'm trying to heat my house with electricity anyway, so this only helps (albeit not as efficiently).

Sounds like a RTX 4060 is all you need for 1440p60 then.
