The more I see of this guy, the more of a doofus I think he is. He starts out by misunderstanding marketing speak "up to" twice the performance of the 2080 as twice the performance. Closed the vid right there. He falls short when he analyzes or opines in anything technical. In the past I thought he may have interesting insider news on the tech industry, but once he goes off with his own thoughts, he loses it. Again, not long before we see 8 vs 16gb versions of the 3070 in Doom E, the supposed 8gb "vram bottlenecked game".

There were plenty of rumors going around before the 3080 10G launch. They have no reason to be angry.

Will cost a lot more for 20GB version, for no actual real benefit now. NVidia even said the reason they went with 10GB was to hit a lower price on 3080 - so you know a 20GB version will add hundreds to price.

It will also add a power consumtion. We are looking at 400w+ for 20gb version, ouch.

I never wanted a gpu with more demandings than my old PCs with 390x, 7970ghz edition and 290x. Despite their fine wine thing and high tdp they were very hot. I need a gpu under 325w oc'ed and under load. 325 is the half of a 650w psu. It sounds normal.

Actually its <10% faster for 100% the price lol The leaked benchmarks were correct for the 3080 so no reason to assume the 3090 ones are any different, whoever buys that 3090 is an idiot

True but then there is extra 14GB of VRAM, I expected they will eat more wattage 🙂
