Well in the English version of the Privacy policy it reads. This is not in the French one.
Along with the severe amount of bloatware in the latest set of drivers. I for one am not too happy

It could also be a security risk that could be exploited.

Anyone being paranoid about this needs to go see a doctor have their head checked.

The title of this thread is inaccurate. It's Geforce experience, not the drivers themselves that collect data.
This is actually the EULA from the Nvidia website, not Geforce experience. I wont be using their 'services' in that case.
This is the Gefore experience EULA
GeForce Experience collects data to improve the application experience; this includes crash and bug reports as well as system information needed to deliver the correct drivers and optimal settings. NVIDIA does not share any personally identifiable information collected by GeForce Experience outside the company. NVIDIA may share aggregate-level data with select partners, but does not share user-level data. The nature of the information collected has remained consistent since the introduction of GeForce Experience 1.0. The change with GeForce Experience 3.0 is that this error reporting and data collection is now being done in real-time.
I'm still not going to install it, I have no need for it 🙂

problem with all that data harvest and drm running in background it cause stuttering and problems in games and generally slows and bogs your system down on a permant basis i wont update new nvidia drivers for a while now if it was amd people be going crazy but nvidia get away with more people love the brand they just accept it theres alot of unwanted junk and process in nvidia drivers since pascal cards arrived you can winrar the driver remove alot of it just install the driver and physx but on the latest driver theres different driver service -nvidia.exe in system32 which if you disable screws the driver , i use older driver 155 i think you can disable driver service or switch it manual use nvidia inspector make adjustments

but i hope you all know that shadowplay primary function is not recording games... and now you know why to use you need to be connected to the net....
(like microsoft xbox recording, what was integrated in system and noone know about it when win10 was released)

Nvidia
It is a problem with mandatory login
It is a problem not having the choice to disable your data gathering from us
Why cant they simply give the customer the choice when installing the driver ?
The more crap that comes from nvidia, the more im willing to sacrifice value/performance and go AMD. I would already choose AMD if both where equal on performance.

I dont have any of this telemetry (375.70), but i have never installed Geforce Experience.

I think I'm in the clear. But then again I'm using older drivers.
Will re-check when I update the drivers.

+1 Agree.
Telemetry done right, is good telemetry imo.
But it's rarely done right unfortunately and people should have a choice to participate or not.

I did not delete any entries, 375.70 driver - no telemetry. (i have never installed Geforce Experience)

I actually had the Telemetry on my system still after I uninstalled GFE. But you could add
192.229.210.202 (as seen in this wireshark screenshot) to your hosts file if you do feel autoruns is not enough or you reinstall and the settings revert.

I just never understood and still don't understand the rampant "my privacy!!"
Wtf are you doing on your PC that's so sensitive? I can give a flying **** if they watch my pr0n habits, surfing and gaming. I feel bad for them, it's a pretty boring, average life.
The only time this stuff frustrates me is when it starts effecting performance of a game. If everything is running fine. Watch away.
And for the "what about secure info like banks, etc" That **** is sitting there for anyone to hack. If it's gonna get hacked, it's gonna get hacked.
Give in to Orwells 1984 already, it's not going anywhere.

Extraordinary
Being collected to improve products I am using, fine with that
Being collected to share with 3rd parties, not so much (Unless you give me a cut of what you're making from doing that)
