The only worrying thing about these Gen 4 SSD's and specially the faster ones is the almost reliance on some form of heatsink.
Which some motherboards come with their own, but they might now need testing to find out if they meet the heat damand or you get one with a heatsink and then its hit or miss if your motherboard will fit it.
Also makes me worry what Gen5 might mean?
It may be better to replace sata connectors with a PCIe connect that you can mount something similar to a 2.5 drive that will help with heat

This talk of "is it fast enough for the PS5" is a joke.
The system can reach a peak of almost 9GB/s not a consistent speed at that. Being that it isn't going to be sitting at them speeds all the time in every situation.
Something a lesser drive with as many iops could suffice for I'm sure.

some game do see most dont and most on PC wont, cause I done see NVME replacing SSD and "mainstream" any time soon to, and most games dont use extra "random" read speed of the Sata SSD yet,
yes the can be amazing when actual uses Read sync speeds
