Its just unnecessary for me since I don't have a glass panel on my cabinet, so I wouldn't be able to see it anyway. But thanks for the tip, didn't even consider just pulling the 4-pin cable. Think I'll try that once I receive the card.

Yes, the standalone app can be "disabled" for autostart, i still left it installed, as sometimes after a driver update it turns the lights back on...
