IF it cost ALOT less, you could be correct. However, it does not. The perf does not justify the cost, at all.
My main reason were first the GTX 780 Ti but there only 3GB versions and i dont want that. Nvidia is not going to release a GTX 780 Ti 6 GB for quite awhile i think. else i already bought them in SLI, they also generate less heat because they got custom coolers, the 780 Ti,s.

By ties i mean very close, this card is pretty impresive against 2 titans black in SLI but thats just my IMHO.
You didn't say tie, you said it beats it in your first post and eats it up in your second and ties in your third and yet despite being priced 33% more it does neither. Again, I can't see the justification of purchasing this card unless you're doing compute on it, in which case it's half the price of a Tesla and double the performance, which is really nice. You could literally buy two titans, a new case and watercool everything while getting better performance out of every component for the same price.

Or I could buy 4 780Ti`s and double the performance for the same money. Also ppl should know that the vram is not enough for games like W_D and future release, not even on 2K +,considering that games like WD eats 6 GB of vram on only 1080p,but hey,ppl that know little about HW will buy this overpriced card.

Are u crazy buy a new case ? LOL! The Haf X is the best cooling case atm for pc gaming so far that i know of. And your statment is false now sorry, A Titan Z eats up two Titans Black according to that review. http://www.digitalstormonline.com/unlocked/nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-z-review-and-4k-benchmarks-idnum280/
Read it again, 2 Titan Blacks are 10-20% faster for 2/3 the price lol! And when you overclock the Titan Blacks, the difference will be even bigger because the Titan-Z is crippled by the 2 8pin connectors. The Titan Blacks will have a lot more overclocking headroom. Sure, you can overclock the Titan-Z if you like the sound of a fan on 100%. Otherwise you can always spend a bit more on a waterblock for it, then you might just get close to 2x Titan Blacks.

Seriously 3 slots? Any GPU that needs to take up that much space is too big IMO, though I guess compared to 2 separate Titans, you do save a slot. If you're going to buy something that powerful, you should give it some proper cooling. They should have made it at most a dual-slot card and equip it with a water block. For those of you who use stuff like PCIe 1x cards, but have no room to spare, they do make riser cables. I personally find those ideal for cards that don't need much user intervention, such as wifi cards.

"Wow what a great product, with amazing price to performance ratio!!!".........Said no-one who buys this card ever.

Fixed. There are plenty of CUDA programmers who will find this card more than appealing. It's double the performance of a K40 and half the price. It's also 2/3rds the density(1/2 if watercooled) of a similar performance setup.

^ GL to them.

According to the game benchmarks, 2x Titan Black outperform Titan Z.... The only benchmarks that show Titan Z being faster, are Heaven and 3DMark. Battlefield 4 Titan Z: 45.2 2x Titan Black: 55.2 R9 295X2: 39.1 Bioshock Infinite Titan Z: 61.9 2x Titan Black: 71.1 R9 295X2: 58.8 Crysis 3 Titan Z: 29.6 2x Titan Black: 33.2 R9 295X2: 38.2 Looks like Titan Z loses to Titan Black SLI in all of them. In Battlefield 4 and Bioshock, Titan Z gets outright bitch slapped by Titan Black SLI. Titan Black SLI has more than a 20% advantage in BF4. Just short of a 20% advantage in Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3.

Why anyone in the world would buy a Titan Z after reading those benchmarks is beyond me. 295X2 is quite clearly the better card when considering price/performance No offence to anyone, but you would have to be either extremely wealthy (in which case congrats) or slightly daft to buy this card over the 295x2

At the $3K price point, this card makes absolutely no sense for gamers. For $2K, you can get a pair of Titan Blacks for SLI.....save 1/3 the price and have 15-20% better performance.

Not to mention, AMD cards only get better with newer driver releases. Nvidia tends to always have better drivers no matter how new or old their products are, but it seems on average, AMD cards gain more speed improvements from driver releases than nvidia.

Great card for game designers and people working in cgi for movies, TV shows and commercials. There are better options for gaming.

This has been Available for a week+ in Australia at 3600$+ Cheapest. Such a pointless Product even if you are a professional just buy 2 Titan Blacks and spend the rest on getting Dual Xeons.I wonder if Nvidia decided to get High when making this and Coming up with a Price?.
