I would love to be proven wrong, but historically a card of that size will not be able to match its full sized counter-part, same power draw or not.
I feel AMD's marketing is going to set this one up for a nasty flop when people run out and buy it and then get upset at the less-than-expected performance they get from the card.

Why?
I'm much less enthusiastic, assuming this performs at 85-90% of the Fury level.
If I were spending that kind of money right now, the 980ti would be the only way to go. The only thing nice about the Nano/Fury is the 4K performance, otherwise, why would someone buy it? Because it's kind of small? Perhaps for the historically awesome AMD driver support?
With Pascal around the corner, I'm not buying anything soon anyways. AMD sure isn't making the decision any harder.

Anything over 550$ becomes unaffordable at least for me as that means 800-900$ after conversion.
