Can't be a myth, its close to the 2 year flagship cycle. I think the max is 2.5 years betweem flagships GPUs.
So we should definitely see it towards the end of this year or early next year.

Who cares about this product anyway? It's been, what, 3 years now since it was a thing to even consider buying a high-end GPU? And they want to launch this and have it be like 5.000€? Absurd. How much extra performance is it going to give anyway? 3-5%? For what possible gain?

Of all the notifications have at EVGA for just A 3xxx card i got notification for none of infact i got notification for on of them card i had queue, and notify me they move the queue to different card queue.
I think the short is much worse they claim or there isnt one, or they are just not manufacturing card but what ever.
The whole 3xxx series is joke wattage wise and price imo
I never bought use card, probably never will special after whole mining crazy, how would we really know what was really being done with card?

But even that doesn't make sense because they pretty much already had that. The 6900XT occasionally outpaces the 3090 but I think charging $5000 just to edge themselves in front (even if they do) is helping their reputation. Just kinda makes them seem petty.
