There are countless decisions and personal preferences that are going to factor into someones decision. I listed a fraction of them.

Wait wait wait... the Infinity Fabric doesn't run at effective RAM speed but at the base speed? Wat? AMD y u do dis to me? Did it really have to be designed to be tied to base RAM speed? There had to be a way around it. Bah, I was going to wait at least until the 2nd generation Ryzen chips anyway. Then again I'm so insanely limited by GPU resources at 1440p that I might wait until the 3rd generation.
