The outside of the case is pretty awesome. But I get this impression that by the time he got to the inside, he was like "I'm getting bored of this, I just want to get this up and running". The inside is obviously nice, but it seems like a lot less effort went into it compared to the outside. Anyway, nice rig.
As as first time builder, I modded what areas of the case I could without compromising the integrity of the case itself. Not really sure what else (besides the HDD panel) that I could have done to the interior. It's not a case of being bored...it was a cost versus ability situation. You can't mod the motherboard tray, the top (interior) because its covered by the reservoir, the back because it's covered by a fan, and the PSU shroud is not removable. The interior theme was white, so adding color would have gone against that. Not really sure where else you are implying that I should have modded to show more effort. At the time of my build I had not seen another build with the modded HDD panel (with foam and case badges), and only one other builder I have seen has even attempted to cover it at all. There aren't many full-window H440's out there either. I'd say just the right amount of effort went into it for a first build.
