what a small card if you see it like this

While I think this is cool for the richest of enthusiasts (in the "I do it because I can" kind of way), I'm not actually sure it's possible to take advantage of what this has to offer and properly cool this in a full tower, not without some serious noise. You'd basically need the whole side panel to be radiators just to cool the GPU alone. Then of course you'd probably have at least 1x 360mm rad for the CPU. Imagine the force of all that suction coming out of the front of the case haha. I would estimate close to 200W of just cooling equipment alone. It'd be funny to have a 2nd whole computer tower just for cooling purposes. Has no compute capability whatsoever but still draws more power than a modern console.
I like this comment because that's almost my system im keeping ~1300w (gaming load) cool with just 2x 240mm and 1x 360mm which these days is a bit less then you can fit in a modern case. But my radiators are in their own little custom built tower outside the case because my GPUS take up all the space lol the loudest part of it is the PSU fans, keeping 1200w of gpus cool does not make to much noise mainly an absurd amount of heat. I also run a second PC that has a sole purpose of processing audio and nothing else it also has SLI just because it looks cool, because i can no longer fit my sound card in my main system and i can't live with USB headphones or onboard audio. Aesthetic really tempts me, nothing like 1275W mountain of hellfire and anger! 😡 Watts aside, this is high quality binning silicon that probably as good as nVIDIA's own FE.

I wonder if for a company is more beneficial doing those kind of products rather than a standard card that just works, even `factory underclocked and cooler`. How many of those they sell compared to loads of still 3060 and 3070 ?

This will be the one for extreme overclocker's using liquid nitrogen.
Darksword:

Aren't all the 4090's voltage locked anyway?
nizzen:

Strix has easy voltagecontrol as usual with elmor tool. Galax just need to use oc software. I have this for 3090 hof.
Yeah, for the 2 or 3 OC people who can handle LN2 and a have a huge nitrogen storage tank, thogether with a nuclear power plant in backyard. I haven´t seen any "modded common 4090" OCed yet, but I fear my evc could almost be useless without a heavy soldering job/ power mod before. Don´t know how GALAX + OC bios manages this, can´t find any high detailed pictures of the circuit board. Breaking records with a fully already modded high performance card is something absurd, I don´t care about at all, this can do almost everybody. The art is to mod/ change/ solder an ordinary GPU card to break records...and to make it run "ordinary" inside your closed PC case. This card is totally useless and makes not a little bit of sense. Edit: read news page again: WTF 1275W ? Kidding ? With ~1.3kW, you can power 3 x ordinary 4090 cards!!

When i read some stuff and i think to myself "that`s overkill", someone comes along and raises the bar even more... It`s like there`s a race to create the most absurd products without caring about anything else.

I have awaited for this trend for many years, how crazy can gpus get if you just remove all the limits and keep going with a big F U to power and heat. Proper enthusiast hardware aimed at maximum power.
