Just had a TDR after a couple of minutes in RDR2 Vulkan. I guess, like Detroit, this game will never work right on NV. *sigh*

Findings so far:
>> Black polygons when doing dch install of this hot fix. -not resolved. This is solved by manually installing the driver and manually extracting and copy paste nvidia control panel rather than ms store or appx service.
>> RDR2 issue, -not resolved. (of course it could be the game, it is rather flaky).
>> Large blank screen delay in alt-tab going to desktop despite monitor refresh rate is the same - not resolved
>> Significant black screen (3 sec) when launching or closing 3d apps/games - not resolved
There are zero chrome or chrome elements, no chrome based ms store apps (actually there are zero ms store app anything, I don't use MS store) on my system so I cannot comment on that - but that also means the black polygons and blank screen are not related to chrome interaction.
Logical extension of this would mean that black polygons are DCH related (vs the standard install) as This is solved by manually installing the driver and manually extracting and copy paste nvidia control panel rather than ms store or appx service. the second fact is that reverting to a ANY standard driver install (non DCH) solves the black polygon issue.
>> Performance drop compared to 471 standard and 466 standard drivers (on the 5 PCs in my house) This is more of a 496 driver observation than the hot fix specifically
-reverting to anything 472 standard driver and below solves black polygon issue.
-reverting to anything 472 standard driver and below solves the 3 second blank screen on launch/lose 3d apps/games.
-reverting to 471 standard driver or 466 standard driver solves performance issue. 472 is better performer than 496, but the latest 472.47 has a performance hit compare to 466 and 471.

I must be the only one in the world with a 21:9 monitor on which NIS is not working no matter what I do, because I found absolutely nothing on the internet in such regard, and NIS has been out for over a week now.
Any NIS resolution I use below native (3440x1400) results in a stretched image, and the refresh rate drops from 165Hz to 60Hz.
I'm completely puzzled and beginning to think it has to do with my specific screen model.

What makes you think that the people hired is the mediocre one, when always are the higher ups that manages all the things are always responsible for this, always wanting to launch things as fast as possible, making the big and fast money as possible, rushing and crunching up the work, nvidia is a brand that makes their hardware releases every 2 years so the people working is not only working on your current and only gpu, they are working on the next ones and also fixing bugs in old ones, look and the bug fixes..... it fixes a damn 750ti issue.
And don't forget that nvidia not only works on gaming GPUs
If your only work ever was just being an employee in a fast food company where the only hard working skill is standing up looking for orders, then good job you are not mediocre at all.
Good thing the ignore button exist, so i can clean my view of dumb replies like the ones of you two.
