This seems to have fixed stuttering I had in games on 3080 when Windows overlays appear (volume control, xbox achievements, start menu, etc.).

At first I was unabel to launch Valorant while Running MSI Afterburner, turning it off fixed it, but I was stil unable to launch Apex Legends, had to rollback. Games were not launching at all ,or crashing while launching. Everything fine with 461.40 tho

That's great to hear, but I just had the opposite. lol Been playing a new game of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, with over 60 hours problem-free playtime with 461.72. First time playing it with 461.92, I had a game lockup (not PC) after a half hour. Coincidence, maybe [doubtful]... But went back to .72 and will wait for 465.
Damn. When i had my lockups on all the 461's it would literally stop the game, cold for a solid 10-20 seconds.. then magically wake up and catch back up, sometimes causing me to lose connection to the server because it would time out. It would also pause a solid 10 seconds just trying to open Chrome. Everything else was fine (Lol).. Now the only thing i did different on This install, DDU Etc, was tell DDU to remove Phys-X, usually i just let it be.. Doubt that has anything to do with it but anything's possible i guess.

Looks like the browser lockups are back with this driver. Last couple seems ok for me to re-enable HWA but these locked up in like an hour. Disabled the option again and all seems fine, could ofc be the windows update that may have upset something. I provided feedback.

g-sync ? module or no module ? dunno,it's the first driver in years that wakes up memory so frequently. I kinda noticed some slight buzz in idle, didn't think much of it.then I was watching a jayz2cents video and his card was visibly spinning up and down in idle,I thought "haha your card is boosting ...wait a minute......."

He's running multiple monitors. It's called out in the driver release notes this can cause higher idle clock states.

I may have spoken too soon also.. 2x now opening up chrome, Hard system lockup for a solid 10 seconds. I took some extensions off ( i dont have many, but cisco and a camera extension) to see if they can be the cause, other then that vanilla chrome. No lockup in Games so far which is obv more important to me, but i will report my findings as the night goes on

Just turn off hardware acceleration in the browser. I been on my PC all evening, not a single crash using the browser since turning it off. Games run well with this driver too.

The cumulative preview update has fixed a case of flickering in applications when MPO's are active, as well as an external handle leak, a dwm memory leak, and the recent printer crashes.

While that is a potential workaround, we should not have to disable hardware acceleration at all.. The issue is why is it doing it.. also explain this one to me.. This was with Chrome Closed.. Look at the GPU, its going BatSh*t.. What i saw is the "Desktop Window Manager" spiking to 100% and Back down to Zero over and over and over.. Until i end task on it and it stopped its madness.. Something is a miss here..

HDR darkness fixes as well and while unrelated to the GPU or graphics also something for 7.1 audio with no further details, some good fixes for the April cumulative update alongside the incoming 21H1 update though it's just a smaller one until the big changes with 21H2 I assume. 🙂 https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2021/03/15/releasing-windows-10-build-19043-899-21h1-to-beta-channel/
We fixed an issue that makes high dynamic range (HDR) screens appear much darker than expected.
