Same here...wtf!?! Disabled already new Update Backend Service! FU nvidia!? :bang::bang::bang: Now, how to remove this **** from tray?

I dont have a service, only the backend startup item, and the NvBackend.exe running To remove it from the tray, enter NV control panel, go up there to Desktop, and uncheck that.

Sorry, no service, but autostart which is already killed. I only installed driver, had already newest physx, no clean install. I've the NV Settings Tray symbol already removed. Need to remove the other icon!

saw some improvement when turn on NVCP but GFE still very sluggish. yeah i also got the safety remove icon.

You should search again 'cause it's definitely not in the RTSS folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\Update Core\NvBackend.exe

Because its meant to remove the NV Settings Tray and not the remove/eject GPU tray, like already said. @Zuhl3156 Thats not an executable, thats a cfg! A profile for RTSS! C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\ProfileTemplates\NvBackend.exe.cfg
