Assuming the standard ones will install, which for me they refuse to. It only wants DCH packages.

Very interesting, this driver fixed my high temps issue that 417.21 introduced.o_O I even ordered new thermal compound as they were ~7 °C hotter than usual.

I have the same issue with 417.23. I was surprised by the increase in temperatures with the latest Vulkan drivers, which are based on the 417.21, and I see that I was not the only one affected.

Thanks for reporting. I suppose I was panicking for no reason, if it's not just me. Still got kinda scared that 1070 started aging before 970, not to mention 560Ti I still use in the other PC. Oh nvidia you so crazy:D

Wtf Nvidia has made GeForce Experience mandatory with this driver. Even in Custom Installation the check box is greyed out and i can't uncheck GeForce Experience 😡

To me the later drivers are smoother in BFv, now maybe fps are not the same but I don't notice that part. Your pic is a game bug, it just lost where the ground was. I see this from time to time on many games.

You get a big choice if you want GFE or not before the "Custom" selection step. Whichever you select there goes.

Seems like opencl is broken in both these and the previous 417.21 driver, again a blackscreen in MPCHC using SVP and GPU Acceleration, getting a bit annoying now as I'm running 144hz gsync screens as well so i was hoping these would fix the blackscreen issue coming out of sleep but once again will have to revert.
