R378.78 (r378_00-172) / 21.21.13.7878 (2-23-2017) pretty old driver this time
Yes, it came out today, it's old :bang:
Rise of the tomb raider (game fps not from benchmark) dx11- 90fps dx12 - 110fps Overall i get 15-25 extra frames in game:cheers: Nice drivers
Nope you sure don't. no driver increases FPs by 15-20, sorry to inform you. Something else is wrong with your system (probably previous driver installation was bugged or something else). Also you didn't use a fixed scene for your stats, like the benchmark (which is exactly its purpose) - therefore your DX11/DX12 comparison is kind of bogus

Still crashing on 980Ti SLI with GRW.

Nice! I'm still a few driver versions behind so I might give this one a run.

Well, this release is broken as hell. There was no way for me to install it on Win 10 Pro with an GTX960. Install assistant would start, let me choose stuff, it would even start uninstall process and remove old driver, but then, every single time, it would abort with error while installing new driver. Tried DDU, tried safe mode, even tried to threathen it with a gigantic magnet. Fortunately, system restore worked like a charm. nVidia, you better get your stuff straight. Gonna get a new top tier rig this year, and my hardware is -not- going to be from you if this is common now.

According to GRW devs, SLI is broken and it is better to disable it in the profile. I re-enabled it after installing these drivers and it is still a mess so I don't think they have done much (if anything at all) to improve it. Using one card, the game plays fine for me @ 2560 x 1080 (Ultra)

Anyone notice Wildlands framerate seems even more unstable with this curiosly? The four of us just tested the driver for a bit, 2 1080's, 1 980ti, and 4th not sure on card, and seems way less smoothed out then the last driver. Maybe we're just crazy lol.

From patch notes front page.
Windows 10 Issues [GeForce Experience]: Driver installation fails when attempting to perform a driver overinstall. To workaround, perform a clean installation.
Have you tried this? Use DDU and try again if not.

It would be awesome if Hilbert give it a try and compare the results to the older version and at the same time comparing against AMD to see more and less where this DX12 performance is.. Is it a good ideia Hilbert? Cheers

Yes, thank you. As said, tried DDU also. And no, this wasn't related to GeForce Experience, as I don't (didn't) have it installed. Removed it when they forced people to register in order to use it. Just basic driver and PhysX, nothing else. Still, didn't work. Let's wait till they release two or three fixes...

seriously, something wrong with your AMD CPU cos so far 378.78 performed very good & don't have any installation issue included GFE.

I think we all agree that improvement IS there. 😉

I don't have any benchmarks but I'm seeing great improvement in BF1 with DX12. Getting about the same performance I got previously in DX11, no more stutter, very smooth. These are keepers.
