Yes, and DX13 as well.
Took me way too long to find the ignore function on this board.

What's not cool is to ask that question again and again when there's no indication anywhere that anything has changed regarding this in this driver. The driver itself is a minor bump of the same R367 branch so even an undocumented changes of such scale are extremely unlikely. The brain is given us for a reason.

This is the Nivida update core loading. To stop this happening you need to extract the driver with winrar or 7zip and delete the update core folder.
thanks you for the tip ^^

I really don't understand why you have to treat people like that.

I'm confused... the v368.69 release notes make absolutely NO mention of the MFAA bug, which can cause annoying issues with the non-gaming components of Windows if it is enabled in the Global profile, in either the Fixed or Outstanding Issues section. This is a pretty serious bug IMO and even if it isn't fixed in this release, something I am not expecting after what ManuelG posted a week or so back, then it should be mentioned SOMEWHERE. I certainly was not the only person affected by this issue. I would have at least expected NVIDIA to acknowledge the issue exists/existed! :3eyes:

Nvidia's driver notes/changelog has been bad since forever. They fix stuff all the time that's not listed and they acknowledge bugs all the time that are not listed. They might as well not even have a changelog section, it's usually worthless.

sacrilegious! (I do the same every time) Let's hope these drivers are as sexy as the version number. I agree, they need better release notes. Just lie and say its a performance driver, and I will be happy regardless. Placebo effect in full effect!

Because people are stupid.

That was fast, Doom Vulkan must be on the horizon. I hope Vulkan is the power boost it's claiming it is.

Instead of being a garish Euro basher, try a little humility and answer the question if you can, if not move on.....forum is for asking questions, and there is no dumb question, just Neanderthal knuckle draggers attempting to feel superior. Don't bother trying to mumble out your hairy knuckle brain hole to berate me, I like the others have muted your arrogance also.:puke2:

Holy crap! The image quality is....never mind. Joking aside, the bloat is seriously getting ridiculous. These are so huge they won't even fit on a CD when extracted out of the installer package. I install nothing but the driver and Physx and it is taking up over 640 MB just in the "C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation" folder alone. I imagine 4 times that spread out in system folders + Vulkan, GFE, etc. if installed. It's a video card driver, not a @#$% ***@$ing Adobe photo/video editing suite.

Games are amazing again with the new card. I honestly hope Nvidia just ditches AT LEAST the 400 series to legacy. What is the point in having these cards to bug check for anymore? A 400 series card is fast becoming ancient history even by console standards.
It makes no sense to ditch just the 400 series because Fermi is 500 series as well. Nvidia also rebranded Fermi all the way to the 900M series, so Fermi has still been sold until recently. While Fermi might be getting old, the GTX 580 is better than the 750 Ti, so obviously Fermi is still capable of gaming. And Nvidia promised DX12 support for over two years ago so Nvidia's fanbase should stop defending Nvidia for breaking that promise.

I am having trouble getting these drivers installed. I removed the old driver and when trying to install the new and it hangs at the "installing Display Driver" step. I was never able to get it past this step. I have tried using DDU, performing a clean install and running as admin. Thanks in advance.

I'm not defending any promises. I'm just saying anything in the 400-500 range is garbage to me. You cannot possibly expect a company to optimize for these cards. People are lucky they are already not on legacy lol. 5 year old plus cards are ancient history in the tech world. That is all I am saying. If I was still gaming on a 560ti I would not expect anything in any driver really but a couple bug fixes. But that is just me.
I can and do expect a company to keep working for 5+ years old cards because the company in question announced support for DX12 at the reveal back in 2014 and at Windows 10's public launch, the company once again said Fermi would get DX12 drivers. Nvidia users expect it because it was promised. AMD and Intel users were not promised a DX12 driver for their counterparts, hence they don't expect it.
