The driver spreads out over various bits on the disk far as I've been checking since building this system having updated this a few times now. (Mostly error free, AMD occasionally did some path changes so manual updating or removing of primarily the PCI driver was needed to resolve this.) You get the temporary files in C:\AMD this can be cleaned up and is mostly cleaned anyway once installation is done but it has the log file data which can be useful for troubleshooting since the installer is really vague on when it hits errors or skips components. Then it extracts to two paths at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\AMD\Chipset_Driver_Installer\AMD_Chipset_Drivers\ Then part of this is installed here: C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD\Chipset_IODrivers (Much of this is identical to the user folder data, bit of a weird method really.) The {2AC4B528-F55F-47BC-B598-781D8A0A9B7E} stuff is per-driver so if you have had multiple chipset drivers there's several of these, I normally do some manual cleanup but for major driver updates or on a per year basis I do a full uninstall and cleanup same as the GPU drivers. 🙂 (Hasn't quite been a year though since I built this system though.) I expect there to be a bunch of chipset drivers for updating for the 5000 desktop series processor compatibility and functionality this is probably the first going by the new power plan and info on some of the other updated devices. Likely going to be the same with the bios and AGESA for that part of this too once more vendors are up to 1.1.0.0 or higher and getting this out of beta status. 🙂 EDIT: There might be some installer bits in the User folders under local and the temp folder too come to think of it, mostly leftovers from the installer software as I recall.
