Well they definitely did something the opengl Libraries are 25% larger than 22.6.1, probably a new ogl driver path added on top of what was already there.

Wish I could get 32:9 VSR. Just a wishful hope. Just to be on the real, you are so massively gpu bottlenecked, its not gonna matter to be honest. Anyone with under a Vega 64. I know because I recently sold a Vega 56 rig with a 1600AF @ 4.1 with 16GB 3200.
Well, considering how slow OGL is, or was, older cards will see massive improvements - playing Minecraft on Linux with the mesa driver back when I had a Fury was waaaaaay faster than on Windows, almost 2 times faster which is inline with what these drivers are suggesting. And just the same with emulators using OGL. In the emulation scene, people with APUs are practically unable to run Citra with standard drivers, talking 30fps. On linux, they can get upto 90fps

FYI, you need the AMD Streaming Audio Device driver installed for AMD Noise Suppression to work.

I dont play minecraft, and it was a POS when my exs kid played it on a Nvidia rig. So meh. LOL and not being able to run Citra. That is some weak stuff to need to run. My phone runs its extremely well. Funny how you totally only talked about OpenGL which is insanely small part of games and emulators out there, but ignored DX11 which is what my comment was directed at. And my point still stands. If not more now.

Well considering this driver release is primarily aimed at OGL performance... And the person you replied to was concerned about both OGL/DX11. Your comment itself didn't explicitly say which API you were referring too, only that person's hardware was weak. I'm specifically talking about how bad OGL performance was on AMD hardware, it really was atrocious and yes you're right, the driver was so bad on Windows for OGL that mobile phones were faster at running Citra. My 6700XT (with xbr and 4k texture enhancement set) ran Metroid Samus Returns at 90fps. The same settings on Linux however brought FPS up to 300. Obviously you're not interested in OpenGL and games/software that utilise it but please don't discount others that are excited for this major improvement, it's been a long time coming.

if somebody can test relive in this driver, it would be highly appreciated. Relive and Amd App is fixed or not. Previous drivers were not showing amd vce or amf in video rendering and editing programs. is it fixed?

Adrenalin 22.7.1 AMD AMF is still broken. DaVinci Resolve crashes immediately with AMD AMF encoding. ReLive still has no B-Frame support using H.264/AVC encoding. OpenGL driver is still in beta...

Alright thanks for testing, guess we should still be using 22.5.1. I hope they fix it sooner.

Yes I know that, still on my FX 8350 🙂 But if I can see really improvments on DirectX 11 on this new drivers, like I see with Dxvk, this is good news!

Isnt the time for an upgrade? You would still see a massive improvement even with ryzen 1600.

v22.7.1 driver still missing AMD AMF encoding in VEGA Pro.
To use AMF, application needs to be updated, not a driver

WOW! New audio driver! o_O Probably just because of AMD Noise Suppression. From my experience, I really do not need it yet! I can play almost every new game on top quality, with 48 to 60 FPS @ 2k or 4k, smooth as butter. I do not need no 60 or 144 steady FPS! 😉

1% lows would see much higher fps even at 1440p and it wont break the bank. You can get 2600/b450/16gb 3200 for 200eur. Its worth it.
