I wonder why all rich men are accused of sexual abuse?
I'm guessing it's just the mindset of I have more money than most people and can do anything I want.

Bobby is literally the reason for the changes at Blizzard. Should I bring up all the sexual harassment stuff or do we stop here?
Most Sexual "harassment" in game dev is fiction and most of it lies that ruined people careers [like chris avellone], blaming Successful Men for sexual harassment is the easiest way to kick them out of their jobs, places they worked for years and successful at. If something is not illegal is perfectly fine, that's why we have rule of law and not rule of the mob. If someone did something that is illegal, then he should be dealt by the police, its that simple.

At this point you are trolling and I will not be interacting with you on this topic any further.

You are part of the problem. The only troll here is you. You are part of the problem, rule of mob instead of rule of the law.

You know I honestly don't care how much money the devil of ABK makes out of this deal, he can bathe in champagne in his golden tub at the mansion on his private island for all I care. Or well, that's not entirely true - I care some about the money involved. In so far as it's money that could have gone towards making good games, decent wages for the employees or other good causes. I mostly care that he'll not be making the decisions going forward, that maybe - just maybe - this can be what saves the games and franchises loved by so many, and perhaps AAA gaming as a whole. Here's hoping.

The sexual harassment thing is a plague both ways. When is used falsely to take someone down but also when happens for real. What sucks is that it seems the mob mentality try to judge and execute punishment with out a trial . Last time i checked you are innocent till proven guilty and the burden of proof is on the accuser's side to provide evidence. That said i hate that guy he can shove the yearly cods and diablo mobile up his rectum ! (I hated him before the harassment allegations against him.)

The only thing Bobby Kotick has truly earned is a smack in the face.

Well, Activision is private company, so you should ask its shareholders why Bobby is still at the trough. I never understood how these people came to their position in companies with zillions of small shareholders, which cant really express their ideas.. there is probably some self-proclaimed shareholder presentative which keeps people like Bobby in their places because he is getting some interesting kickback from that.

It's a publicly listed company.

i'm not an expert either far from it and I'm being "anal" here to be honest but a company listed on the stock market is generally not referred to as a privately held company but a publicly held company. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know the advantages and disadvantages of having private shareholders versus public shareholders though.

Remember that Bobby owns some shares of the company, Microsoft have to buy it too, thats why he can get that amount of money.

You are absolutely correct. Both articles that they posted are riddled with lies and altered facts, look what his source of "news" is too lol. Thank you for sticking to your guns and fighting the SJW trolls. I was afraid the takeover here at guru3d was underway

That is reasonable. He has been with company for like 30 years. That is about 1 million dollars a month for the deal. Good Job! Hard work pays off.

I still not see there contradiction between public and private.. Its private company which has public shares available.
